Book Rating Scale: 


  • 1 ★: Did Not Enjoy. Do Not Recommend, I didn't waste my time finishing it 
    • Missing MKP* within the book
    • No Plot
    • No CD*
    • Writing Style 
  • 1.5 ★: I did not like this book, but I did finish it to see what happens 
    • Still Missing MP*points but flows
    • Characters were okay
    • Something drew me in to finish it, but it wasn't worth it  
  • 2 ★★: Wouldn't read it again. Needs work, not an enjoyable read 
    • Missing minor KP* within the book
    • Plot is there but doesn't follow

Within this section I will go over how the MC(s)* develop and their main goal within the book. I will also rate their following characteristics:
  • Likeability: (1-10) 
    • Do I wish you well? 
    • Did the character make me like them? 
    • At any point in time did I want you to die? 

  • Smash or Pass? 
    • Would I do them? 
    • Are the writing skills there to make me imagine someone hot AF or ugly as a dog? 
  • Character Growth (1-10)
    • Does the character grow within the book? 
    • Are their obstacles they must get through in order to grow? 
    • Is their story clear and objective? 
What I Liked:

Within this section I will talk about the overall plot, the things that I liked and how everything fit together for me to get the rating I did!

No Thank You:

Within this section I will touch on the things that I really didn't care for or could have gone without, usually where I air out any grievances I have against any MCs. 

Spice Rating:

0: No spice at all very clean book
1-25: There is a little spice but not enough to get cookin'
26-50: Oh, she's spicy and may have you sayin' "Good gracious." but not enough times
51-75: This book had me RUSHING to my nightstand.. If you know what I mean, the scenes are hot and so are the characters 
76-100: There ain't enough water on this planet to quench the thirst this book just gave me. I may or may not be laying in a pool of lust in the corner. 

Tension Rating:
(Mostly for YA books or books with under a 25% Smut Rating)

0: Ain't no tension in this book.. why tf did I read it again? 
1-25: Slight tension, but not enough to make it the book 
26-50: There is some nice tension within this book and I am not mad about it.. It doesn't take over the book but it sure does enhance it 
50-75: I can literally cut the tension with a knife, it is the book, at this point might be the only reason I finish... 
76-100: Is it socially okay to burn this book? The tension seems to be seeping out into my day to day life and it is killing me 

Maturity:
In this section I talk about what age range I would recommend this book to
Young Adult: This book may have some mature concepts but doesn't have any adult scenes, may have some swearing or adult concepts 
New Adult: This book has mature concepts with some adult scenes, does include swearing and or violence, may have some trigger warnings 
Adult: This book has very mature concepts with a good portion of adult scenes, swearing, violence, check trigger warnings
NSFW!: This book has a lot of adult scenes, heavy trigger warnings, acts of violence and a whole lot of swearing 

Tropes:

Within this section I will list the tropes that I found within the book
For example:

Within this section, I will lay out all possible trigger warnings!
